Dr. Sreedhar Cheekoori provides scientific and technical assistance on matters relating to intellectual property law, international trade law and regulation and product regulation.

Dr. Cheekoori assists in patent litigation and counseling, and compliance with various food and drug regulations, including the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations.

In the international trade field, Dr. Cheekoori bears the designation Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), a unique qualification when combined with his Ph.D. in organic chemistry. Dr. Cheekoori is well positioned to assist in advising clients on the Canadian customs tariff classification system, refunds, drawbacks, self-corrections and related regulatory matters. He does so with particular emphasis on chemicals, food, drugs, additives, supplements, and other products requiring technical expertise. He is also a patent agent trainee, assisting in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications.
