With over 15 years of litigation experience, Elizabeth Fimio assists clients with motions, discovery, legal document drafting, enforcement of judgments, and collections. She has extensive experience assisting with the management of complex, multi-party and document intensive litigation. Elizabeth helps with all aspects of eDiscovery, including negotiation of discovery plans, data collection, managing document review, productions and database management. She has assisted with matters before the Superior Court of Justice, including the Commercial List; Ontario Court of Appeal; Supreme Court of Canada; Federal Court of Canada; Small Claims Court; Ontario Human Rights Tribunal; Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal; Competition Tribunal; and Ontario Securities Commission.
Elizabeth has completed the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario’s eDiscovery Advanced Theory & Practices Fellowship Course.
She is a member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, the International Legal Technology Association and Women in eDiscovery.
