Nathan Green has a general energy regulatory practice with a focus on utilities and rates, regulatory approvals and facility applications, environmental and Indigenous matters. His work touches many diverse components of the energy sector, including power generation, pipelines, electrical transmission and distribution, CCUS, energy storage, hydrogen, and oil and gas.
Nathan has been involved in proceedings before various provincial and federal administrative tribunals, including the Alberta Utilities Commission, the Alberta Energy Regulator and the Canada Energy Regulator, as well as Alberta Courts.
Before becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Nathan articled with the firm. Prior to commencing his articles, Nathan worked as a summer law student for a large electric distribution utility.
