Stephanie practices employment, labour and health law. She regularly provides strategic advice on complex employment matters to federally and provincially regulated employers, in both unionized and non-unionized settings. She assists employers with establishing the employment relationship, drafting employment agreements and policies, ensuring compliance with employment related legislation and terminating employment relationships. Stephanie also advises employers on issues that arise during the employment relationship, such as workplace investigations, disability management, disciplinary issues and accommodations issues. She regularly acts as lead counsel on employment litigation matters, labour arbitrations and human rights complaints. Stephanie regularly provides advice on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
In addition to her employment and labour practice, Stephanie is also a member of Bennett Jones' Health Law group and regularly advises physicians on regulatory and health law litigation matters.
