Orla O'Malley has a general commercial real estate law practice including leasing and real estate based financing with a focus on commercial transactions.
Orla is a client focused lawyer with a keen understanding and interest in clients' business objectives and serves to provide legal support and solutions with that in mind. Orla has experience working with entrepreneurs, owner operators and large institutional clients across a variety of industries including seniors housing, hospitality, renewable energies, forestry, and real estate development.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Orla practiced law at a national firm and a reputable regional firm. She earned a combined JD MBA from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Northern British Columbia. She serves the community as an activation committee member for The Forum Women Entrepreneurs and a CBA Mentor.
