Krishen Singh has a general litigation practice with an emphasis on professional negligence and health law. He enjoys advising clients on human rights and constitutional matters, and has assisted as counsel before all levels of Alberta courts as well as the Supreme Court of Canada.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Krishen summered and articled with the firm. Additionally, he completed a clerkship with the Court of King's Bench of Alberta from 2020 to 2021. Krishen has also completed internships for the Alberta Court of Justice and the Canadian Constitution Foundation.
While attending law school, Krishen worked as a writing fellow for the Legal Research and Writing Program at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law. He won the Bereskin & Parr LLP Prize in Intellectual Property and the Darcy Readman Prize in Personal Property Security Law for top performance in these courses. Krishen was also on the Dean's List.
Krishen has held positions with Student Legal Services and the University of Alberta Students' Union Discipline Board. He currently holds an executive position with the Canadian Bar Association Health Law Group, and is a board member of the Centre for Constitutional Studies.
