Amy Verhoeff has a general corporate and commercial practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts and transactions and other corporate law matters.
Amy is routinely involved in advising buyers, sellers and private equity groups in connection with a wide range of transactions, including joint ventures, asset and share purchases and sales and corporate reorganizations. Her work on these transactions ranges from strategic advice to legal and business risk analysis, due diligence and drafting of definitive agreements and ancillary documents.
Amy also advises clients with corporate and governance issues that arise in businesses, non-profit organizations, professional corporations and alternative relationship plans.
As an active member of the local business community, Amy serves on the Advisory Board of the Edmonton Chapter of Young ACG (Association for Corporate Growth) and is on the Event Committee for Compassion Foundation's Fashion with Compassion.
Prior to becoming an associate at Bennett Jones, Amy summered and articled with the firm.
