Manpreet has a general commercial litigation practice with a focus on construction, real estate, and shareholder disputes. She also has experience with energy and environmental regulatory proceedings. 

Prior to beginning her legal studies, Manpreet spent seven years pursuing a career in the energy sector, primarily supporting capital projects in progressively senior roles. In her most recent position, as Manager of Supply Chain for a multinational energy company, she was responsible for overseeing all supply chain matters relating to the capital program of the Canadian Gas facilities business. 

While completing her Juris Doctor, Manpreet interned with the Alberta Utilities Commission and the British Columbia Securities Commission, and was a research assistant for Bryce Tingle, the K.C., N. Murray Edwards Chair of Jurisdiction and Business Law at the University of Calgary.

Manpreet summered and articled in the firm's Calgary office before moving to Vancouver. During her articles, Manpreet was seconded to the Calgary office of a large integrated oil and gas company.

Outside of her litigation practice at Bennett Jones, Manpreet serves as Board Secretary and Director of the Surrey Women's Centre and Advisory Committee Member of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade's Rix Leadership Committee. Previously she has also served as Board Secretary and Director of the Canadian Energy and Climate Nexus.
