Denise Brunsdon comments in Canadian Lawyer on access to justice for French-speaking Albertans. Canadian Lawyer reports on the University of Calgary Faculty of Law entering into a new partnership with the University of Ottawa’s Certificate in Common Law in French in hopes of improving access to justice for French-speaking Albertans.

Denise says that substantive access to justice means having advocates who really understand and identify with vulnerable or underrepresented populations. Denise is a co-founder and member of Lawyers for Education, Access, and Diversity (LEAD Alberta).
