John Manley Honoured by Wilson Center's Canada Institute

John Manley, former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, and Tom Ridge, former United States Secretary for Homeland Security, received the Woodrow Wilson Award for Public Service in recognition of their contribution to enhancing the Canada-U.S. bilateral relationship following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 through the development of the Smart Border Declaration.

John and Tom were recognized at the Wilson Center’s Canada Institute 2019 Toronto Awards Dinner. The event included a tribute video thanking them for their leadership, conviction and vision.
