The Globe and Mail reports on October events across Canada celebrating and supporting health and social-welfare initiatives, including the 24th annual UNICEF Water for Life Gala in Calgary. The event is the most successful UNICEF gala in the country. Wayne Whitlock attended and is pictured in the story, the event's goal is to raise $1,000,000 in support of clean, safe water for all children in the world.
