Jenna Vivian is a strategic, client-focused lawyer known for delivering practical solutions across commercial litigation, employment law, occupational health and safety (OHS), and health law. She helps businesses and organizations navigate complex legal challenges, mitigate risks and resolve high-stakes disputes with efficiency and precision.

Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Jenna represents clients in construction disputes—particularly in the oil and gas and construction sectors—as well as shareholder disputes and other contract-related matters. With meticulous legal analysis and strategic advocacy, she ensures her clients’ interests are protected in negotiation, mediation, and litigation.

Occupational Health & Safety & Regulatory Compliance

With a strong focus on proactive risk management, Jenna helps businesses and government entities stay compliant with regulations and avoid penalties. Her work includes:

  • drafting policies on violence and harassment prevention and other workplace safety matters;
  • advising on regulatory compliance—including responding to orders, investigations and enforcement actions;
  • assisting with workplace investigations and fatalities, ensuring organizations meet their legal obligations while minimizing liability; and
  • representing clients in regulatory appeals and compliance matters before administrative bodies.

Employment & Workplace Law

Jenna advises management and employers on all aspects of employment law, including:

  • drafting employment contracts and workplace policies to ensure compliance with evolving regulations;
  • supporting internal investigations and providing strategic advice on terminations and workforce management;
  • defending employers in human rights complaints and wrongful dismissal claims; and
  • conducting due diligence on employment and OHS matters in corporate transactions.

Health Law

Jenna represents physicians in regulatory matters and litigation, including malpractice actions and professional discipline. She delivers business-focused legal solutions, and takes a collaborative, strategic approach to navigating regulatory challenges, mitigating risk and resolving disputes efficiently—always prioritizing her clients' best interests.

Community Involvement

Beyond her practice, Jenna is Vice Chair of the Board of Kids Up Front Foundation (Edmonton), a charitable organization dedicated to providing access to arts, culture and sporting events for underprivileged youth.
