Mathieu Guindon practices within the corporate group at Bennett Jones, specializing primarily in mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate financing. He assists private and public companies with their strategic initiatives, from initial planning to the completion of transactions, including the review and drafting of commercial agreements and conducting due diligence.
Before joining Bennett Jones, Mathieu practiced as an associate at a boutique law firm in Montreal, specializing in private placements and venture capital. He also worked in-house at a manufacturing company in the transportation industry. Additionally, he articled and began his career within the business law group of another national law firm. These diverse experiences provide him with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by his clients.
