Evana has a general litigation practice with an emphasis on corporate and commercial disputes. Her experience broadly includes complex contractual disputes, fraud, real estate disputes, urgent injunction matters and class proceedings, among others. Evana has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, including before both the Civil List and the Commercial List, as well as before professional regulatory bodies.
Evana is passionate about understanding her clients’ needs and delivering strategic, results-driven guidance. Whether helping clients proactively avoid litigation, responding to legal challenges or initiating legal proceedings, Evana takes a strategic approach to protecting their interests through negotiation, mediation and litigation. She is known for being practical and attentive – bringing clarity, direction and focus to fast-paced and often sensitive matters.
Beyond her legal practice, Evana is an active member of the legal community. She is a member of the Advocates’ Society and the Toronto Lawyers’ Association and plays a key role in mentorship initiatives within the firm.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones as an associate, Evana summered and articled with the firm.
