Tatiana Zalar's practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law and land development, including land acquisition and disposition, financing, leasing and condominiums.
In her commercial real estate and development practice, Tatiana has acted for vendors, purchasers and lenders in a variety of complex commercial and industrial real estate purchase, sale, financing, co-ownership and joint venture transactions. Tatiana also has extensive experience in condominium and subdivision development, builders’ sales and construction and development financing.
Tatiana is actively engaged in the legal profession and matters that benefit the larger community. She currently serves as a Director on the Board of Toronto Commercial Real Estate Women (Toronto CREW), a group committed to providing networking and leadership opportunities to empower women to excel, influence and lead throughout their commercial real estate careers. Tatiana is Co-Vice Chair of the Women's Leadership Programs Committee, which designs and facilitates programs to support women aspiring to advance into executive leadership roles. Tatiana is also a member of the REAL Jobs Day Committee, which gives grade 11/12 female students the opportunity to participate in a one-day event to learn more about careers in commercial real estate and network with senior executive women.
Tatiana will be a featured speaker on the topic of "Fair Market Rent" at the Law Society of Ontario's Six Minute Commercial Leasing Lawyer.
Tatiana earned her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, was an associate editor of the Osgoode Hall Law Journal and volunteered with Community Legal Aid.
