Antoine Messervier delivers strategic tax law solutions with a strong academic foundation and national firm experience. Recognized for excellence in taxation, he combines technical expertise with sharp analytical insight to navigate complex tax matters.
Antoine has a general tax law practice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université Laval and a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of British Columbia. During his law studies, Antoine served as a clerk for the Honourable Justice Jocelyn F. Rancourt at the Court of Appeal of Quebec.
Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Antoine worked in the tax group of another national law firm. He is listed on the Honour Roll of Université Laval's Faculty of Law and is the recipient of the Kellough Tillinghast Nitikman Prize in Tax Law as the top graduating student in the LL.M. in Taxation program.
Antoine is actively involved in the tax community. He was a speaker at the 11th edition of the André-Lareau Symposium on Taxation, where he received the first prize for his presentation on foreign entity characterization and Quebec civil law.
